Our Mission

New Era Church exists to

Equip believers,

Reach the lost, and

Affect our community.

Equipping Believers

We desire to see Christians go beyond accepting Jesus, to following Him as His disciples. Discipleship requires close fellowship with Him through careful study of His Word, spending time with Him in prayer, and building community with other disciples.

We teach the Bible in a relevant, simple way to help you learn who you are in Christ, model prayer through teaching and example, and encourage one another as a family should.

At New Era Church you will be equipped to be strong in faith and use that faith as the hands and feet of Jesus to serve others.

Reaching the Lost

Every believer is called to fulfill Jesus' Great Commission to His Church that we go to others and share with them The Gospel (The Good News).

We believe the most effective way to accomplish this mandate to evangelize is by building and growing personal relationships.

You don't have to be an eloquent speaker or have all the answers, you just have to be available to be used by the Holy Spirit to make a friend, be a friend, and then lead that friend to Christ.

Affecting Our Community

Love and service were the hallmarks of Jesus' life and ministry. If we're going to change our communities, the church has to leave the building and be the hands and feet of Jesus by loving and serving people.

Ministry is messy at times. It requires us to get our hands dirty (sometimes literally) and go to where the people live, work, and play. Sometimes that looks like painting walls, pulling weeds, serving food, or donating money and supplies to fill a need.

We want to impact Bowling Green and Warren County through acts of loving service. We don't just want to go to church, but really be the Church.
